Rare Gerry Lopez shaped Lightning Bolt 8’1 gun made in 1972 (the same year he claimed his first Pipeline Masters title). This board was shaped for the late “Fat Paul” Peterson and is featured in the surfing movie “Island Magic”. Paul was the Lighting Bolt surf team coach and original land owner where the infamous “Pipe House” was built front and center at Banzai Pipeline by Gerry Lopez and partners. This board being over 8 feet in length makes it an especially rare Lopez Bolt as most of the boards he shaped were considerably shorter. The board has a few repaired battle scars but overall is all original.
