Christian Fletcher 5’11 surfboard shaped by Steve Boysen in 1989. Featuring the coveted Christian Fletcher Surfboards laminate with artwork by Roy Gonzalez. Made the year Christian Fletcher dominated the competition with his innovative aerial surfing at the Professional Surfing Association of America event. The competition was held at Lower Trestles, near San Clemente, CA. Fletcher prepared for the competition by surfing skate ramps and was known to play Nintendo in between heats. The year prior, Christian Fletcher made the cover of both Surfer and Surfing magazines–at the same time. An incredible piece of surfing history, made at the zenith of Christian Fletcher’s aerial surfing stardom.
